Summer always does this to me.
Focus goes out the window and writing becomes a chore—at least at first—it pales in comparison with being outside.
Anyway here’s something different, kind of.
A list of questions I have.
Some of these are rhetorical, some are for specific people, others are for you.
Back to your regular scheduled programming next week, promise, xoxo
What the fuck is a “cultural worker”? Can someone explain it to me without sounding like a dork?
What are you here for?
Why dodge the subject of politics?
Do you feel shame? Is it terrifying to unravel the lies that built your life?
Am I on a list? Are you?
Has sincerity been replaced by fanaticism?
Why is every pop song I hear these days about bragging about having BPD and the emotional maturity of a 5 year old? IS THIS CUTE?
Did you mean it?
Are you trying to suck my essence? Swallow my soul?
How dare you?
Do you wish I was dead?
What do you keep tabs on?
Is poetry over?
Who will eulogize it?
Will money love you back?
What will you do if it doesn’t?
Are you fighting for a quick fix?
Does vaping make you feel like a baby? Are you nostalgic for impotence?
How are your negotiations with the devil going?
If nothing ever changes, will you settle?
